The Library is looking for volunteers to help with the Summer Reading Program.

Do you like. . . giving parties? Art projects? Working with kids? Your library needs you!  Please fill out the Volunteer Application and Volunteer Skills/Interest Inventory forms.  Return them to the Library.  For more information, contact Senior Library Assistant Patty Skinner at 325-7323.

First Check Out Program

Buy a book from the library's Wish List and be the first to read it!

You can now safely and securely donate books that have been pre-selected by the Astoria Public Library.  Simply make your selections from our Amazon.com Wish List and purchase them online.  They will then be sent directly to the library.

The Library Endowment Fund

Astoria Public Library wants to build its Endowment Fund to $1,000,000.  Every contribution brings us closer to our goal.  Call 503-325-7323 for further information.

Join the Friends

Astor Library Friends Association (ALFA) provides the library with funds and services beyond the scope of the city budget.  ALFA finances its activities through an annual book sale, the copy machines, donations and member fees.  Contact Library staff for details.
