How to get a library card
How can kids get a library card?
- Come to the Astoria Public Library with a parent or guardian who has a Driver's License or an Oregon ID card with a current address.
- Your parent or guardian signs a library card agreement.
- You neatly print your name on your new library card.
- Your library card is laminated in plastic so it will last forever.
- Your new Astoria Public Library card is ready! When you find something you want to borrow, just CHECK IT OUT!
Does a library card cost anything?
If you live within the Astoria City limits there is no charge.
If you live outside the Astoria City limits the following payment options are available.
- $18 for 3 months
- $33 for 6 months
- $60 for 12 months
Do you need a library card replaced?
If you already have an account in the library computer, a replacement library card may be purchased for $6.
